Zoe - the name just rolls off the tongue, doesn't it?  It's the Zed, I say... or the Zee... it's just a luscious start to the name... speaking of luscious, look at those lips - perfect pout, and such glossy red lipstick... gorgeousness, right?  Such a pretty chin, delicate facial features, and I love the definition of her belly, the rise of her shoulders and the shape of her collar bones, too.  I love the way Sophia can give a slender shape such well defined curves, she really does have the midas touch with her designs.

Wow, isn't Zach just something?  Facially more mature than many of the pretty twenty something guys everywhere in SL, he's also toned and wonderfully fit, without being muscle bound or disproportional.  I love the lines of those muscles all down his torso, and the cords to the muscles in his legs - gawd, I can feel that body against mine, and that smoldering gaze... *yum*

Clarisse & Henri

Wow!!  I'm wearing Clarisse as we speak, and she's a knockout - she feels curvier than my previous favourite, Rose, and is just ultra ultra gorgeous.  She has lovely cheekbones, and the chin and lips are just about the most perfect I've seen in SL.  Love your work, Sophia :)

Next up, we have Henri, tall, dark, and lusciously hand- some, I can think of ten things I'd like to do to him *right* now and none of them are suitable for putting on a blog.  I love that Sophia can put together such stunningly attractive men AND women - can you imagine how Second Life would look  if she'd been responsible for the startup avatars??

Ophelie & Edward

Where to start with Ophelie??  She has almost porcelain skin on a frame that just screams out European - I think she's just gorgeous.  For those that don't know Sophistishapes, or Sophia Rossen's 'credentials' for shape design, her formative years in Second Life were spent at one of the very foremost beach playgrounds, a place where looks weren't everything, but boy were they something... from there, it became apparent that she had a real flair for avatar design - matching stunning skins to her custom shapes and coming up with something that quite often takes the breath away from the people who see them - fast forward to today, and here's Ophelie, the latest in a successive line of luscious shapes and style cards that let you look like a million dollars, for only a handful of Lindens. 

Oh dear - Edward.  Ed-ward.  Can we say that name without seeing the slighty vapid doe eyed trans-lation of a vampire that hollywood forced upon us?  If not, you're about to have a real treat, Sophistishapes Edward is all man, his athletic build is a real stand out amongst so many of the macho men in SL - lovely detail to his body lets the skin absolutely shine.  Guys,  I know, statistically you're not the biggest spenders in Second Life, but a shape and skin like this is an investment in your avatar - a one stop solution to getting yourself to the point where your personality can get through the nice solid walls us girls put up after 'Hi' :)

Nell, Helen & Louis + Blackhearts Event

Wow, gorgeousness abounds with these three new releases from Sophistishapes, starting with Nell with her lush, full red lips, a smattering of freckles over her light, delicate skin, sweet curves and bold, beautiful eyes.  The dark, soft curls finish her off so well, it's hard to believe this picture is of a Second Life avatar.

I don't know about you, but I think Helen is quite stunning - I'm getting almost a Eurasian feel from her, and I love the full, slightly parted lips - just lovely.  And those legs, gawd, don't they just go *all* the way??  I really do love the effort Sophistishapes put into each and every release, they're just brilliant.

OMG, yet another man to die for from Sophistishapes - Louis is just... well look at him... isn't that just yum?  The abs... legs and arms so strong without too much bulk, that jaw... and the eyes - isn't he just looking right into you??  All credit to Sophia, she knows her craft with males just as much as with females, each and every shape is just *so* polished.

Gwen and Jules (and don't forget your freebie!!)

Ross, Meilin, and a hot free shape...

 

Look at those eyes - and that chin... not to mention the lips... *sigh* - yet again, I'm having impure thoughts about a Sophistishapes shape.  Really impure.  If they get any more impure I think my brain will end up pregnant.  (Hmmmm, I wouldn't mind some pickles, maybe it already is???  OMG, scary thought - can your brain get pregnant from that?)  You know, girls, you could do a lot worse than getting your guy into Ross's shape and skin for Valentines Day - and hey, if it doesn't work out there'll be one more Ross out there for me to play with :)

 

Meilin - even the name conjures a slender, willowy asian girl - almost exactly the build I see here - except the name doesn't *quite* get to the exotic eastern beauty that Sophia has gifted Meilin with. I often find it very impressive that I hear the name, and have an 'image' that goes with it, and then find the shape Sophia has put together for it matches :)

Taylor & Grace

/me whimpers... O. M. G.  - Sophia's at it again, she's making bad boys... I *know* Taylor's gonna be trouble, he's gonna drive his car too fast, be irresistable and flirt with all my friends... he'll make my mother go week at the knees by turning up in a suit when he meets her then do wicked things to me under the table at the restaurant... but I don't care.  He's gorgeous.  One 'how about it, babe' and I'll be either wandering out of a club with him, or possibly just into a dark corner to be completely taken advantage of.  Several times, hopefully.  Yes, this is my type of guy.  I want to rezz him straight onto my couch, right now, and save all the mucking around circling each other with smouldering eyes and wanton glances.

Hmmmm... I don't know about Grace... sure... she's sexy... hot... the dusky skin and sexy eyes *do* do it for me... she just looks like she'd be the one slinking off with Taylor behind my back.  Oh, hang on - heh - a quick trip to Sophistishapes and I can *be* her... I keep forgetting that... I bet if I look like Grace I can pick up a dozen Taylors *giggles*  Seriously - if your avi doesn't already look THIS good, come to Sophistishapes and take a look at what there is - there really is an avatar for everyone there - and if there isn't one for you, IM Sophia and talk to her about customs - she's *that* good :)

Marcus and Anton - The boys are back in town

Mmmmmm, eye candy for Jess - I *so* love getting new guys from Sophia :)  I've gotta admit though, out of these two, Anton definitely has me - he's just got the bad boy come nice guy look that tantalises - not to mention a lush, lean frame, gorgeous hair and lovely eyes.  Sophistishapes is really getting a great catalogue with a broad variety of shapes and styles for guys and girls - and if you really can't find anything you like, contact Sophia, she does wonderful customs, too.

 

Just look at the gorgeous body art on Anton - such a dream of a man.  I love the fact that all of Sophistishapes shapes offer excellent shape and definition without being musclebound - I haven't seen one of Sophia's Avi's that I wouldn't happily drag off to bed - or maybe even just the floor in front of the sofa. *giggles*

Have a Happy New (Oh) Yeah!!

Well, if Christmas didn't bring you all you wanted, let Sophistishapes make sure you start 2010 off on the right foot with Kane and Belle, two of Sophia's best offerings yet.

Kane, as you can see, is just luscious - lovely muscle definition and form without being a hulking lumpy body builder, striking eyes, a beautiful strong chin and such kissable lips.  I'm pretty sure if you look up 'hot guy' in the SL dictionary, you'll find a pic of Kane *right* there.

Belle's another stunner from Sophistishapes - I *must* admit she hasn't managed to shift me from my addiction to Maria, but I HAVE met someone wearing Belle in SL, and she is gorgeous.  I love Sophia's attention to detail with all her shapes, and Belle is another example of just how well she does her magic.

It's not just the effort in the shapes though - it's also how she manages to absolutely make the most from each skin she ties them in with - everytime there's a new release, I find it hard to find anything that could really be improved - as a stylist, her work is just incredible.  This is also reflected in the recent news of Sophistishapes collaboration with Belleza - Tricky has been doing incredible things with skins and now Sophia is creating wonderful alternate shapes to work with them.  When you find two names both of whom are at the top of their fields working together, amazing things happen.

Talon Faire has also produced a range of eyelashes that are pre-fitted to your favourite Sophistishapes shape - forget all the mucking around making a prim fit properly, these babies fit first time, every time, and give you the long, lush look you've been craving.  I have, in my time in Second Life, got quite good at editing where things sit, but I've gotta say it's worth *every* linden cent to be able to just put 'em straight on.

So, here we are... it's two thousand and ten... twenty ten??  The 'Tenties??  The Ten's?? hmmmmm, what ever you call it, it's a new year - maybe it's time for a new look, too - guys, girls, come on down to Sophistishapes, Sophia has something for everyone.

Sebastian & David - Two of the best...

As an avid participant in one of the larger fashion groups in Second Life, I often hear males complaining they don't have the opportunities to look good that female avi's do.  Just take a look at these two luscious boys - seriously - I hear daily from guys in little more than their startup Avi that they don't know how to look good - for L$1000 you get the shape, and step by step instructions on assembling the gorgeous avatar you see in the image.  You will need a skin, hair, eyes, etc, but I can't begin to tell you the response you will get to an avatar styled by Sophistishapes - Sophia *really* knows her stuff.  And girls, get your boys to try this out - they really are THAT good!!!

Curtis - just wow

Oh my gosh, look at Curtis - it seems like each successive release from Sophistishapes just gets better and better, and Curtis is definitely no exception to the rule.  I've spent some time drooling, ummmm, I mean *looking* over his pic, and I'm nothing but impressed - I love the fine trail of body hair emphasising the shape of his chest and those gorgeous abs - Sophia REALLY knows her shapes, bringing out all the best in the skins she chooses to work with.  I know she spends a lot of time perfecting her shapes to make sure you don't end up with the sharp angles seen so often that pull the reality out of virtual reality - I mean, just look at that face.

Sophistishapes gives you the shape you see in the pic, plus a full style card to set up Curtis EXACTLY as you see him in the pics - all for just L$1000.  Guys, trust me, that's a bargain to be able to look as good as this - you just know you're gonna look hot when you let Sophistishapes help.
